Reds Legend On Importance Of EFL Cup Final

Liverpool legend John Aldridge feels the Reds need to win the EFL Cup this afternoon as great teams need a collection of trophies on their records to confirm their status. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have won the Premier League and the Champions League in recent years, but they have failed to make an impact in domestic cup competitions. The Reds have an opportunity to change that this afternoon when they lock horns with Chelsea at Wembley in the final of the EFL Cup . Liverpool legend Aldridge feels that Klopp’s men need to start picking up more trophies as it would confirm their status as a great team. He also stressed that beyond the EFL Cup, Liverpool have opportunities in other competitions, with the Reds in the Premier League title race and alive in the FA Cup and the Champions League. “The League Cup may only be the fourth priority when the season gets underway, but great teams need a collection of trophies on their record to confirm their status”, Aldridge wrote in his Sunday Worl

'Uncharted' Doomed to Join Hollywood's Box Office

Sony executives breathed a sigh of relief when “Uncharted,” a big-budget adaptation of the popular video game, secured a release date in China. The Chinese government, which has absolute control over which movies play in its theaters (and when they debut), has recently been ultra-selective about the non-Chinese films it allows to screen in the country’s tens of thousands of venues.  As a result, many of Hollywood’s biggest pandemic-era releases, such as “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” and “Eternals,” weren’t granted access to Chinese movie theaters. That absence has wound up costing those movies tens — and in some cases hundreds — of millions of dollars in box office revenues . “Getting any blockbuster into China right now feels like a big deal,” says Jeff Bock, a box office analyst with Exhibitor Relations. But just because “Uncharted” is set to open in China on March 14 does not mean the film is destined to succeed there. In an alternate timeli

Terra Nova Season 2 Release Date

Terra Nova season 2 was canceled despite strong ratings and a cliffhanger finish — here’s why Fox’s classic sci-fi program was axed. Terra Nova’s concept is that Earth is overpopulated in 2149, with pollution posing a danger to life on the planet.  A fissure is found that can transport humans 85 million years back in time, and a series of pilgrimages are sent through to establish the Terra Nova colony.    The program followed the Shannon family as they tried to live in this new world, headed by father Jim (Jason O’Mara) and Terra Nova’s commander Taylor, portrayed by Stephen Lang (Avatar). Terra Nova was an enormously ambitious project, with the pilot costing over $10 million to shoot and each following episode budgeted at $4 million.  The series featured lavish settings and action scenes using computer-generated dinosaur assaults.  Fox was hoping for a Lost-like success with Terra Nova and invested much in its advertising before the show’s debut. While the movie got mixed reviews, wit

How the 2022 movie compares with Agatha

This time around, even Hercule Poirot’s mustache gets a tragic origin story, Armie Hammer and Gal Gadot in Death on the Nile. Director Kenneth Branagh and screenwriter Michael Green have teamed up to adapt another one of Agatha Christie’s mystery novels. In Death on the Nile, heiress Linnet Ridgeway (Gal Godot) and her new husband Simon Doyle (Armie Hammer) are on their honeymoon in Egypt and are being stalked by Simon’s ex-fiancée Jacqueline (Sex Education’s Emma Mackey).  Click here:  https://www.buymeacoffee.com/streamfullhd/everything-everywhere-all-at-once-2022-streaming-italiano-gratis As they travel by steamer boat along the Nile, Linnet is killed, throwing suspicion onto the boat’s passengers. Fortunately, detective Hercule Poirot (played once again by Branagh) is among them. Gal Gadot's Death on The Nile Performance

Death on the Nile, an all-star sequel to Kenneth Branagh's all-star adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express, finally opens this week after a number of pandemic-related release-date changes.  The nearly 18-month delay has not been kind to its stacked ensemble, which has become impressively embattled in the interim. The cast squirming under the watchful eye of master detective Hercule Poirot (Branagh himself) includes Armie Hammer (accused of sexual assault), Russell Brand (ongoing anti-vaccine campaigning), and Letitia Wright (shared a video including anti-vax and transphobic sentiments). So how is it that Gal Gadot has become the public face of Death on the Nile mockery? Granted, Gadot has experienced her own controversies, from serious (issuing a vague call for Israel-Palestine peace that clearly prioritized her home country of Israel) to mild distraction (making a tone-deaf "Imagine" singalong video in the early days of a global pandemic). But while the personal icki
